Hey Family! I have to do an official post about my Sunday Funday celebrating my birthday in San Francisco! We enjoyed family-friendly Sundaze Brunch and explored San Francisco in a private Party Bus. In this post I will explain how you can check out these cool things to do on your next Summer Sunday!

My birthday fell on a Wednesday this year & Bre & I celebrated it in Mexico for the week!

We flew home that Saturday to make it back in time to celebrate as a group with our family and friends. I wanted to do something that Sunday that’s family-friendly, outdoors, and potentially dog-friendly! Louis Vuitton’s birthday is on the 17th, my baby is 2 years old!

Sundaze Brunch it is!

Sundaze started as a day party every Sunday throughout the Summer for the 21 & up crowd. Any and everyone was there from Instagram models to rappers like the Ying Yang Twins and Ty Dolla $ign. Yes, it was definitely the place to be Pre-Covid Summer. Founded by Bay Area Native, Anthony Presents, he created a space that competed with the hottest LA & Las Vegas day parties! Go Ant! Getting into Sundaze back then was a struggle unless you spent big bucks on bottle service or arrived super early be prepared to wait in super long lines!

Fast forward to 2021, living life during a pandemic brings many challenges. Anthony converted his business model in so many ways to adjust to the new reality. California banned large gatherings, bar-like atmosphere, and many other restrictions to reduce the spread of Covid-19. Through that, a new type of Sundaze was born!

Sundaze now being a brunch-themed family-friendly, pet-welcoming marketplace with food trucks, good music, and a chill vibe. Covid precautions were in place including social distantacing, mask requirements, and sanitizing stations. Party with your friends in this safe environment, we had a blast!

I knew this is where I wanted to end my birthday week! Planning the day was super easy. I got a headcount for the group and headed over to Sundaze’s Instagram, where I followed the link to Event Brite to purchase tickets. To my surprise entry is FREE!

They offer table reservations with or without “bottle service”. At this time they don’t offer hard alcohol but they do have Champagne service. Each table reservation is good for 6 people. The Champagne package includes Brut or Rose champagne, orange juice, and a table.

I ordered 2 Champagne packages and a single table reservation, enough to comfortably fit our group of 18.

My tips for enjoying Sundaze Brunch:

  • Reserve a table & get a proper headcount to reserve enough room for your group.
  • Arrive early to beat the crowd.
  • Research the food trucks before arrival they alternate weekly, popular trucks sell out fast.
  • Food truck lines could be long and orders can take longer to be ready.
  • There is no dedicated parking, street parking around the venue.
  • No hard alcohol is served, and no BYOB! Wine, champagne, beer, and other light beverages are available.

Sundaze is open until 4 pm, perfect to make it home to get ready for your week. But to my surprise, Bre & my best friend Ariana ordered a PARTY BUS for the after-party! I was genuinely so excited and really surprised!

PARTY BUS TIME!

For my sweet 16, my Mom rented me a limo to explore San Francisco with my friends and my brother! It is one of my most memorable birthdays so it was really special to do it again with some of my closest friends! Trina & Ariana were on that Sweet 16 trip, thanks for so many years of friendship!

The party bus picked us up from Sundaze. Bre reserved the bus for 4 hours giving us enough time to enjoy the bus. They let me chose the destinations! I chose the Palace of Fine Arts, the Golden Gate Bridge lookout, and Pier39. We had an absolute blast! The bus had Wifi and Bluetooth connection, we were in full control of our music. It even had karaoke. lol. Besides being spacious and clean the bus even featured a bathroom!

The bus company Bre went through is Executive Limo Bus Sf, at this time I don’t have the exact cost or other details, so I’ll link their information here for you to find out more: Executive Limo Bus Sf . They have a section to request a rate on their website.

My tips for enjoying your Party Bus:

  • Hire in advance. Communicate with different companies and check reviews.
  • If you don’t have a destination in mind the bus provides a ‘Popular Places Checklist’ to help plan your trip.
  • Plan your refreshments and Byob! This company let us bring our own alcohol. The driver also stopped at a store on the road for us!
  • Don’t forget water, stay hydrated!
  • Have a designated person keep headcount to prevent leaving anyone behind at stops.
  • Tip your driver!
  • Have FUN!!

All in all, this was a pretty amazing birthday! Definitely the most memorable, exploring San Francisco on a Sunday was not a bad idea! Turning 30 during quarantine was really hard on me, so redeeming myself for my 31st birthday was done in style!
