We don’t have a full garage, it’s a “storage closet” no larger than 3 feet deep & the length of our bedroom wall that I have to house our overflow. I have to stay creative and be careful about what I choose to keep in this area. 

I recently purchased wire storage shelving from Ikea to increase the vertical storage in this space. It has helped a lot, now most of those items that were out of reach in large storage bins are front and center easily accessible to us.
