Hey Family! Fall is almost here. I’ve seen so much inspiring Fall decor; tell me is it already Fall or does it start on the 22nd? Anywho, I’m actually excited for cooler weather & the holidays that follow. Starting small I decided to tackle our bathroom, a good deep clean, get it organized, and decorated for Fall!

I have been searching high and low for a better way to organize our bathroom, and I believe I found a solution! We’ve been using my old Ikea bookshelf since we’ve moved in as a temporary storage shelf, but it was so hard to keep organized and clean. It quickly became a dumping ground for old products and clutter. Not to mention that thing collects dust like no one’s business. That bookshelf became an eyesore and I was embarrassed to let guests use the restroom to see our terrible “storage shelf”.
That changes today, well a series of days. With the pandemic and myself recently healing from Covid-19, it is really hard for me to leave the house. I had to pray & work up the courage to take that 20-minute drive to Ikea, but when I got there I was so pleased with the precautionary steps they have taken to ensure the safety of us all.
The line to get in wasn’t that bad, and everyone was friendly and patient.
Things started to feel slightly, normal. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured as I strolled the showroom for ideas, it felt so familiar shopping like a normal person, with a mask lol. I collected the items I needed and got to work as soon as I got home.
I put myself in the mindset and I let my environment inspire me!
I have to thank my Partner, Bre, for putting together that cabinet in such a timely manner! I’m even more grateful she was able to film it. There have been so many times I will start a project & midway I’m like dang, I should’ve recorded this!
Filming in my tiny bathroom was very challenging but I needed to get this done. I deep cleaned the bathroom just like I would during spring cleaning, I’ll insert my favorite Bathroom Spring Cleaning Checklist HERE!
The steps I chose to deep clean & organize our bathroom were:
- Clean
- Remove & Declutter
- Clean some more
- Organize
- Decorate
They don’t have to be in that particular order. I used a combination of the Kon Mari Method & my own organizing methods to get our bathroom under control. Minimizing the clutter made it so much easier to find a home for the things we actually use.
It was fun to sort of decorating our space, it was always an afterthought because I felt it was so small. Adding subtle decor made a world of difference. I added little pumpkins to celebrate Fall! I can’t wait to cook large meals, cozy up under a fire & sip the infamous pumpkin spice latte.

I wanted the style of that video to be a lot more laid back and not too structured. I love turning on cleaning motivation videos where the creator isn’t barking orders at me and letting me jam out to the music. Let me know if you like that style or should I speak more in the videos.
Make sure to watch me get clean, organized, and thank you sooooo much for supporting my blog & my Youtube Channel! How will you celebrate Fall?
