Hey Family! I don’t know how I let our fridge get so horrible. But that ends today! It took literal sweat and almost tears to tackle that gross fridge! Let’s get organized!

I filmed a video of me cleaning and organizing my disaster refrigerator. It was a struggle to film and I couldn’t even use most of the footage. lol. It was a hard task, but I trooped through.

First, I just want to mention a few things I didn’t in the video. Then, I’ll add in a couple of tips to make organizing your fridge a little easier.

I wanted the style of that video to be a lot more laid back and not too structured. I love turning on cleaning motivation videos where the creator isn’t barking orders at me and letting me jam out to the music. If you’re here on my blog I can do what I want, just kidding.

Ikea

I would first like to mention I got all of my bins and that pretty glass “milk” jug from Ikea, Korken bottle. I purchased the large white one, Variera box, last year and used it in my Beauty room, I recently found some colorful bins at Target to better match the aesthetic I was going for. I got the clear bins for $1.50 at Ikea. I know, a STEAL! I purposely didn’t label them just in case I use them elsewhere.

Amazon

The Chalk-markers are from Amazon, they come in 12 plus colors! The chalkboard labels actually came with the pens FREE! I’ve had these for a while and I’m almost out of labels, so I’ll rebuy soon. Shop my Amazon Store for some more inspiration and organizing containers.

Walmart

The other “jugs” are from Walmart for $1! We purchased these as water bottles for our trip to Tahoe. Just in case we forgot to pack them back up or lost them we wouldn’t sweat over a $1. I wish they weren’t plastic, I’ll invest in glass containers since this proved I love the aesthetic.

We usually go through fresh produce pretty quickly and right before they start to turn I will freeze whatever’s leftover. Especially fruit, I use them in my daily smoothies.

Music. I’ve stumbled across Thematic, a free music source for content creators. Just follow their guidelines for giving each artist credit and you’re golden.

The steps I chose to take to organize my refrigerator were:

  1. Remove & Declutter
  2. Clean
  3. Place items in new packaging
  4. Wash & sort selected items (fruits & veggies)
  5. Label as needed
  6. Sort & Replace

They don’t have to be in that particular order. I didn’t want toss so many things out but it was insane the number of products we had that were either expired, unopen & expired, and nearly empty.

Make sure to watch me get organized and thank you sooooo much for supporting my blog & my Youtube Channel!
